Rihanna is incredibly grateful after A$AP Rocky was acquitted of all charges following his felony assault trial.
After the jury read its verdict on Tuesday, February 18, the 36-year-old rapper was overcome with joy as he leaped over the divider to embrace Riri and his family. The couple walked out of the courtroom together where Rocky addressed the press. The singer and mother of Rocky's children also took to Instagram and shared her thoughts about the outcome of the trial. In her IG Story, she thanked "God and God alone."
"The glory belongs to God and God alone!" she wrote. "Thankful. Humbled by his mercy!"

"Gotta thank God first," Rocky said outside of the courthouse. "I really want to thank the jury for making the right decision. I'm just so thankful. This is crazy right now. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years, but I'm thankful. Nonetheless, I'm thankful for it and we blessed to be here right now. To be a free man talking to y'all. Thank you, all praise to God."
Several celebrities also took to social media to celebrate the verdict. 50 Cent, who previously criticized the plaintiff Terell Ephron a.k.a. A$AP Relli, also congratulated Rocky in an Instagram post.
"Not Guilty I told [ninja emojis] I would bet 500,000 K he gonna beat it when ASAP Tellie started getting tired of telling 5 days straight 💣BOOM💨 Now stay sucker free!" he wrote.
A$AP Rocky was accused of shooting at Ephron during an argument in 2021. Ephron not only filed a police report, but he also sued Rocky and his attorney Joe Tacopina for defamation. Rocky was arrested in 2022 and charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic weapon. The trial began late last month and lasted for three weeks. The jury of seven women and five men began deliberating late last Friday and reached a verdict yesterday.
