Trick Daddy is back on the air in Miami.

On Monday, January 20, the veteran rapper and reality show star made a shocking return to the airwaves in his hometown. Trick Daddy will take over for Papa Keith on 103.5 The Beat for the next two months while the host of "Papa Keith Live" pursues his political aspirations by running for office in South Florida.

"I love coming back to radio," Trick Daddy tells iHeartRadio. "Actually I been talking to Papa Keith about coming back. 103.5 The Beat is a real people's station and they need people like me."

"Not only is Trick Daddy a South Florida music legend, but he's also an accomplished radio personality, an important mentor and powerful voice in the community, said DJ A-OH, 103.5 The Beat Program Director and Vice President Hip Hop and R&B Programming Strategy. "We're thrilled to have him join us on 103.5 The Beat as he takes over Papa Keith's show in the afternoons while Papa Keith runs for office, following his political aspirations. Be sure to hear the Trick Daddy takeover of Papa Keith in the afternoons Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. right here on 103.5 The Beat."

Trick Daddy's music has been a staple on Hip-Hop radio stations for three decades. After becoming a legendary rap artist, Trick began his career in radio alongside his frequent collaborator Trina at a local Miami radio station. The seasoned artist has also had plenty of success on VH1's "Love & Hip-Hop: Miami," his restaurant Sunday's Eatery in Miami Gardens, and his cooking show "Trick I Got My Pots." His popular YouTube series has featured various special guests including Rick Ross, Uncle Luke, Timbaland, CeeLo Green, Angela Yee, Jess Hilarious, DJ Khaled, and more.

"So if y'all listening and y'all want me back on 103.5 The Beat, you let 'em know about me," Trick added.
