President Joe Biden has exited the 2024 presidential election, and several rappers have already voiced their opinions about his decision and his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Following President Biden's shocking announcement on Sunday, July 21, Cardi B didn't waste time reacting to the news. She took to X, formerly know as Twitter, to reshare a lengthy video she made following the last presidential debate between Biden and Republican candidate Donald Trump. In the clip, she called President Biden "selfish" and declared that Harris should've been the Democratic candidate.

"AHAHAHAHA LETS GOOOOO I TOLD YALLL KAMALA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE 2024 candidate…..STOP FCKIN PLAYIN WITH ME !!!!!!!" she wrote.

"This should have been the perfect time to give it to Kamala," she said in her video.

Bardi joined the chorus of artists who spoke out following the historic moment in American history. Fat Joe also took to social media to react to President Biden's decision to step down. He was on the road when the news broke and whipped out an iPad to catch all the coverage. He has yet to react to Vice President Harris' run for President, but it wouldn't be shocking if he also endorsed her. The two recently teamed up for a discussion about easing the penalties for marijuana-based crimes at the White House.

"In the middle of the desert watching this Breaking news “YOU DID IT JOE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF” Father Time will catch up to all of us GOD BLESS 🙏🏽❤️

The Internet was full of heartfelt (and hilarious) reactions to Biden quitting the presidential race and endorsing Harris to take his place as the Democratic nominee. Fugees rapper Wyclef Jean shared the president's shocking announcement letter on social media, and Soulja Boy was curious why the sitting president decided to step down just a few months away from Election Day. Meanwhile, artists from the likes of Mysonne to Lil Nas X put their full support behind Harris' fresh bid for president.

Amid the overwhelming support for the altered Harris ticket, some rappers have endorsed former President Trump. Kodak Black has been a staunch Trump supporter for years and recently called out Plies for criticizing his boy. Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Azealia Banks and Sexyy Red have also voiced their support for Trump over the past several months.
