Delivery-only “ghost kitchens” are popping up in nearly two dozen states, and Chef Guy Fieri is bringing Flavortown to Northeast Ohio.
The Flavortown pop-ups, in a partnership between Fieri and Robert Earl, aims to help restaurants impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Buca di Beppo locations in Strongsville and Westlake and the Bravo! Italian Kitchen in Canton will serve as Flavortown “ghost kitchens,” cleveland.com reported Friday (February 12).
The ghost kitchens will serve up everything from “our signature Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings to our award winning Mac N Cheese Burger, all of Flavortown’s favorites come straight to your door step,” according to Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen.
Last year, Fieri teamed up with the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation to establish the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. That initiative also aimed to help local restaurant employees struggling during the pandemic. It raised more than $21 million.
The popular Food Network chef has also featured several Ohio restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, including six in Northeast Ohio.
Place your order on delivery apps — like Uber Eats, DoorDash and GrubHub, according to the Cleveland Scene — or visit guysflavortownkitchen.com. You can also follow Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
