North Carolina Lottery officials say that Saturday's (June 22) Pick 4 drawing set a record with over 2,000 people picking the correct numbers, which were 0-0-0-0.

About 1,000 winning one dollar tickets were sold, and those winners will take home $5,000 in cash. They also sold an additional 50 cent tickets, which will pay out $2,500. The total payout will be $7.8 million, a new record for the Pick 4 drawing.

The previous record of $7.5 million was set on Aug. 11, 2012, when the winning numbers were 1-1-1-1.

Officials told winners they should expect long lines when going to claim their prize.

"Due to the large number of winners, players should expect extended waiting times to complete their claims if they choose to visit a regional office on Monday and Tuesday," officials said in a press release.
