A 9-year-old boy in California took "paying it forward" to a whole new level when he used his allowance to pay off school lunch debts for his entire third-grade class. Ryan Kirkpatrick recently asked his mom to find out how much his fellow third-graders owed at West Park Elementary in Napa. "It was, I think, $74.50. So I took that email and came to Ryan and said, 'What do you want to do,' and he said, 'I guess I can pay for it,'" mom Kylie Kirkpatrick recalls. "I said, 'Are you sure?' And he said, 'Yes.'" Ryan, who anonymously paid the outstanding debts, tells ABC News about his classmates who were in debt, "I want them to feel happy someone cares about them."
