Silky crooner John Legend, who recently became the first black man to joint the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) club, can now add another prestigious title to his résumé: Voice coach. On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Legend will replace Jennifer Hudson for The Voice's 16th season this coming spring. "I'm so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL," Legend said in a statement. Flanked by Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, Hudson will still be on hand when the 15th season of The Voice premieres on September 24 on NBC, with Carson Daly returning as host.
