Former "Cosby Show" Star Says "No One Should Feel Sorry for Me"

Former Cosby Show star Geoffrey Owens says life is great despite being shamed online this past weekend for working at Trader Joe's. Owens admitted on Tuesday's Good Morning America--where he appeared with his Trader Joe's pin on his jacket--that he felt "really devastated" at first when FOX News and The Daily Mail appeared to troll his (Trader) joe job, but added, "The period of devastation was so short because so shortly after that, the responses, my wife and I started to read [them]…and fortunately the shame part didn’t last very long." Owens, who played Bill Cosby's son-in-law on the hit '80s sitcom, also said, "No one should feel sorry for me. I’ve had a great life. I’ve had a great career. I’ve had a career that most actors would die for. So no one has to feel sorry for me. I’m doing fine." While Owens said he's received several acting offers, he "wouldn’t feel comfortable with someone giving me a job because this happened. I want to get a job because I’m the right person for that job.”
