On Sunday's episode of NBC's Meet the Press, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman played a recording that she said was of chief of staff John Kelly firing her inside the Situation Room. "It's important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure... you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation," Kelly can be heard saying. Omarosa said she had no regrets about secretly recording her dismissal--and indicated that she had more audio from her time in the White House. "This is a White House where everybody lies... you have to have your own back," she declared.
